Mrs. Saidie Williams Allen is an accomplished nursing leader and healthcare administrator with over thirty years of public sector nursing leadership spanning clinical nursing, midwifery, nursing administration, and healthcare management. Her distinguished career reflects a sustained commitment to advancing nursing practice, strengthening healthcare systems and promoting excellence in patient care. She currently brings this wealth of leadership to her role as a Council Member, where she also serves as the Chair of the Disciplinary & Penal Cases Committee, where she champions professional accountability, ethical standards, and integrity of nursing and midwifery professionals.

Mrs. Williams Allen completed her nursing and midwifery training at the Kingston School of Nursing and Victoria Jubilee Hospital, later obtaining a Certificate in Nursing Administration from the In-Service Education Unit of the Ministry of Health. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Technology, Jamaica. Currently the Director of Nursing Services and Nursing Consultant to the Hospital Management Committee at Mandeville Regional Hospital, Mrs. Williams Allen designs systems that bridge primary and secondary care while enforcing strict regulatory compliance. Throughout her distinguished career in the public health sector, she progressed from her foundational role as a Registered Nurse into senior administrative leadership, serving as the Director of Nursing Services at the Mandeville Regional Hospital and as the Acting Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Her dedication has earned her the NAJ Long Service Award and the national Hospital Worker of the Year Award. Beyond her institutional roles, she is active in community service and was notably deployed to Haiti with the Jamaican nursing delegation following the 2010 earthquake.
