Ms. Monica Beverly Stockhausen, EAN, Cert. (Psychiatric Nursing)

Mrs Monica Beverly Stockhausen is a Senior Enrolled Assistant Nurse whose career reflects a deep commitment to healthcare, advocacy, leadership, and community service in Jamaica. She currently brings this wealth of leadership to her role as a Council Member, where she also serves as Co-Chair of the Practice, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.

A Senior Member of the Secretariat for the Jamaica Enrolled Nurses Association, Mrs. Stockhausen plays a key role in the nationwide advancement of enrolled assistant nursing, ensuring their perspectives are well-represented in governance and policy development. Complementing her extensive background in nursing, workplace relations, and mental health care, she holds certifications in Psychiatric Nursing as well as Trade Union and Labour Law. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Mrs. Stockhausen is deeply involved in community and faith-based service. She serves as President of the Women’s Fellowship within her church association, leading programs focused on the mentorship and empowerment of women. She also acts as the Deputy Leader of the Welfare Programme to coordinate vital resources for families in need. Guided by her belief that “our nurses are the future,” she brings clinical excellence, advocacy, and compassion to her service.
