Violet McCalla-Lewis, RM
Mrs. Violet McCalla-Lewis has served the Jamaica Midwives Association as 2nd Vice President and Public Relations Officer and is currently a member of the executive body. She is a member of the Council’s Nurses and Midwives Committee and has also served on the Policy Committee.
Mrs. McCalla-Lewis is Supervisory Midwife for the parish of Kingston & St. Andrew. She was recognised by the Kingston and St. Andrew Health Department for outstanding service in the field of Midwifery. She now serves as the president of the Kingston and St. Andrew Group of Midwives.
She is a member of the Health Committee of the St. Michael’s Anglican Church where she worships.
