Angela Thomas, MSc, RN, RM,

Miss Angela Thomas is the Director of Nursing Services at the Mandeville Regional Hospital, Manchester, Jamaica. She is a past distinguished president of the Optimist Club of Christiana and has acted as the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for Jamaica. Miss Thomas also serves on the Mandeville Regional Hospital’s Management Committee and has served on the Hospital Improvement Committee at the Percy Junor Hospital.

She has been credited with a number of accomplishments in the health service sector. She spearheaded the tiling project at the Percy Junor Hospital as well as their Health Fair Expo and helped to establish that hospital’s 24-hour Accident and Emergency Department.  She has also headed a number of events such as the Mandeville Regional Hospital’s Health Expo 2014 and the 50 Nurses Staff Recognition to commemorate Jamaica’s 50th Year of Independence in 2012. Miss Thomas is the conceptualizer of the Employee Assistance Programme for the South Regional Health Authority.
